Welcoming my new colleague to the practice, my son Dr. David Van Winkle. David graduated from Cathedral High School in 2013 and Indiana University-Bloomington in 2017. David went on to attend Indiana University School of Dentistry where he decided to pursue further training in periodontics. David completed his periodontology residency at the University of Detroit Mercy School Of Dentistry in June of this year. He has since joined our practice as of July 8th 2024. I couldn’t be more proud of him.
I want to assure you that I have the utmost confidence in Dr. David’s clinical abilities, rapport with patients, and commitment to providing the highest level of care. He is excited to form relationships with my existing patients and welcome new patients to our practice.
In his free time David enjoys traveling with his wife Carly, working on home improvement projects, and playing golf with his friends, family and colleagues.Dr. David is an active member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society and the American Academy of Periodontology.
As for me, my golf game could always be better but I am not embarrassed about it. My wife Ellie and I are adjusting to becoming “empty nesters" as our twin daughters went off to college in North Carolina and Ohio. I am an active pilot and always seeking new locations to travel to. On a serious note, I don’t want anyone to think I am getting ready to retire; I am simply enjoying the practice that I have built and look forward to working alongside my son. I anticipate many more years ahead!
Thank you for your continued support!
